Gordy

Many Gordy releases have been reissued on label styles similar to the originals.  There are two things
to keep in mind in addition to the specifics listed below.  First, the copyright symbol and date did not
appear on the label prior to record number 7032.  This date, when it did appear, corresponds closely
to the release date of the record.  Later dates, or dates on records that did not originally have them,
are good indications of a reissue.  Second, the shade of purple on reissues of the early style label is
somewhat lighter than the originals.
